I just LIVE-BLOGGED A BLOG.....That just happened

If you don't like "live-blogs of live-blogs, you can get out!

As we are trying to conform in the world of "Blogdem", we realized that every good blog should live blog something. Whether it be a Basketball, football, Nascar or even sports talk radio, the crema of bloggers will eventually Live blog something of their choice.

Yesterday, Marius Janulis of TNIAAM live blogged Axeman's "On the Block" inaugural show today on ESPN1260, so I figured I would live blog his blog. By now you all know that Marius has great, creative and value added posts unlike TheSportHump. We actually admit that reading our blog may create unwanted tension in the lower back, and make you feel awkward and alone.

Since one of his posts has more influence, cleverness and redeeming quality than my 8th grade paper on Margaret Thatcher, here is what I think he does not do for a living.......

  • ParkRanger

  • Toll Booth attendant

  • Defensive back for the Philadelphia Soul

  • Short Track dirt racer

  • S1W-(See Public Enemy)

Well here it goes, and enjoy my "live-blog" of TNIAAM's "live-blog" of ON THE BLOCK with Brent Axe.........

2:56 PM - He writes something about Stephen A Smith, Biluxi Blues and Fresno State, and the Quad City DJ's. C'mon ride the train Marius!

3:00PM - He announces that an announcer said it's time for "Onnnnnn The Block with Brent Axe.!" Apparently he approves and writes something very witty and creative with just a pinch of Sarcasm.

3:06PM - He wishes for pictures of Axe in his Hanes underwear. Wait, maybe Euro cut trunks, not sure but it was great.

3:08PM - He writes about getting bit by sharks at Manhattan beach drinking Orange Slice while Syracuse won the 03 national championship. This guy is just crazy!......and very witty.

3:15PM - Talking about game predictions for tonight's game. Live blogging really sucks, I literally have not done any work in over 2 hours. Jesus Christ almighty!

3:17PM - Quad City DJ's being mentioned again. Is somebody getting married? That is a great song to contrast with the Electric slide, has a bit of funk, and gets the single ladies out on the dance floor.

3:25PM - Marius states that Axe is proud to be apart of the ESPN family. Something about Wolves howling at the moon in a parking lot. We have wolves in Syracuse? I do have a few shirts with wolves howling at the moon though....:)

3:29PM - He states AXE is straight, and not gay. Never mind, he is coming straight at ya like the 69 Boyz.

Probably bored? Well, look at my abs....take it in Syracuse

3:34PM -Blogger shout outs! This new show must be like the Grind with Eric Nies. We would like a blogger shout out, can we get one?

3:36PM - Rick calls.......waits.......writes that he is rusty.

3:41PM - Writing about short commercial breaks, he seems excited! This shit is going crazy, is it hot in the Cuse today. I just realized I am "live blogging" a blog.

3:43PM - Some ex lacrosse player that is Axe's BFF calls...writes awwwwwww and stops.

3:48PM - Words about Jim Kelly making Bail. I am curious what has happened and hope the best for Kelly Gunn.

3:51PM - Apparently Marius is a Giants fan. That's right baby, GMEN rocking Jersey, through and through.

4:02PM - Writing about show some more....

4:11PM - More about show, Jim Kelly making out with Staffer.

4:17PM - Show.writing about. More show. More writing about show. show.

4:20PM - Announces that he is "live Blogging." Something clever and witty ensues.

4:23PM - Makes Patrick Shadle weight reference. Something about Jarred and Nutri system.

4:31PM - He acknowledges that a caller thinks he is a loser for reading blogs. Well, right now, I wouldn't disagree.

4:38PM - Something incredibly scandalous stated about Saddam Hussein. Again, comes in from left field and nails it with a witty, pop culture reference that stirs the blogging pot.

4:47PM - Ends with unique reference about show, and how Axe will live in infamy.

The End

I like to think we pushed the philosophical and theoretical framework of blogging to metaphysical proportions!
