A reason to love Syracuse....

As we poke fun, harass and laugh at the silly things the entire sports world throws into our laps as sports bloggers, sometimes you read something that really hits you deep inside.

As I was sitting here perusing the Internet to find a video of some athlete getting arrested, punching a bouncer, or falling ofo a bar stool I came across this story on Syracuse.com. Heading into Mothers Day we are always thankful for the time we have to share with our family and the people we love. If anyone is reading this from the Syracuse community, I believe this young gal should have season tickets to anything she wants!!! And fellow bloggers that have influence (That may mean you Axe!), please pass that on!

Eunique Darby, 14, who has leukemia, just found a bone marrow donor that matched her. A freshman at Corcoran High School, she said she's glad the wait is over. Eunique was diagnosed five years ago with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer that affects her white blood cells.

**Notice how she is bedecked in Syracuse Gear?

Nice post man, I think this is the type of stuff the elite at SU needs to capitalize on.
