Top Ten baseball Stache's of the 1980's....Number 10: Keith Atherton

Thanks to the Three Idiots for reminding me of how much I loved Topp's and Fleer 1980's baseball cards, I decided to put a top ten mustache list for the 80's greats. Coming up with this list was extremely tough and exhausting. Numerous 80's greats had quality stache's that would make Magnum P.I. bow down to its righteous "stachitude."
For every connoisseur of the 80's Major league baseball stache, it has to have a "pulse-raising" quality that is about:

Intimidation, determination, and sexin' up the ladies.

With that being said, I introduce you to Number Ten: Keith Atherton-
Keith Rowe Atherton (born February 19, 1959 in Newport News,
Virginia
), is a former professional baseball player who pitched in the Major
Leagues primarily in relief from 1983-1989. Atherton played
for the Oakland Athletics (1983-1986), Minnesota Twins (1986-1988) and Cleveland Indians (1989). In 342 games, Atherton had a 33-41 record, with 26 saves, 349 strikeouts and a 3.99 ERA. He appeared in the 1987 World Series as a member of the Minnesota Twins.

Mustache Tip of the Day:

These same experts recommend the following mustache designs based on the various facial shape, features and nose and mouth configurations:

Large facial features in general - heavy mustache will work with a larger face.
Prominent nose - medium to larger mustache will balance a prominent or hooked nose.
Long, narrow face - medium to narrow mustache works best.
Extra-large mouth or prominent teeth - triangular or pyramid shaped mustache.
Extra-small mouth - medium, short mustache.
Small facial features - small triangular mustache.
