Top Ten baseball Stache's of the 1980's....Number 9: Joe Johnson

Numerous 80's greats had quality stache's that would make Magnum P.I. bow down to its righteous "stachitude." For every connoisseur of the 80's Major league baseball stache, it has to have a "pulse-raising" quality that is about:

Intimidation, determination, and sexin' up the ladies.

With that being said, I introduce you to Number 9:Joe Johnson

(Born October 30, 1961 in Brookline, Massachusetts) is an American former right-handed starting pitcher in Major League Baseball from 1985 to 1987.

After attending the University of Maine, Johnson was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the second round of the 1982 amateur draft. He made his debut with the Braves in 1985, compiling a record of 4-4 with a 4.10 ERA. He had a solid 1986 season, going 13-9 with both the Braves and the Toronto Blue Jays, to whom he was traded on July 6 for fellow pitcher Jim Acker. Johnson had a subpar 1987 in Toronto, however, and played the final game of his career on June 21 of that year.
