Russianator over at Three Idiots gave some insight of a potential whiteout at the Dome during our Penn State match up this September:

As a kid, Penn State was right at the top of many Syracuse fan's most hated
lists, but with the long passage of time and the divergent paths both programs
have taken, the passion simply isn't what it used to be. However, those Penn
State fans LOVE their Nittany Lions, consistently filling Beaver Stadium to
capacity
, regardless of how well the team plays.

Well, we can only hope that this does not happen. Penn State used to be a heated Rivalry, so if there is a time and place to make a statement about the future of our football program, it's at this game!

The Orange Squeeze pieces up the opportunity for the Receivers to make a "Bold" statement..Hehe. He makes some great statements though:

Because of the happenings in between seasons all that has happened up to the
last play of last year doesn't matter anymore. The slate has been wiped clean,
the count reset, the past forgotten. In the next pre-season whoever has the best
performance is going to be a starter on a team that, if things had gone as
planned, he would not be starting for. The key now is just who is going to
"seize the opportunity"? The two that do could maybe be the surprises of the Big
East, the players that no team scouted because they weren't on any one's radar
last year and could just very well be the ones that make a difference on the
season and on their coach's career.

Well, for fuck's sake we have to stick behind them regardless of the potential debacle. I am being more pessimistic than usual, but it's really tough to find the bright spots in this team with the schedule we have put out in front of us. Sighhh...

Russianator, how many hours till Happy Hour?

Happy Hour was good - sadly at 35, I'm home already. A decade ago, I would rage until 4 am.

I wish I could be optimistic about this year's football team, but I thnk we're screwed. At least there's tailgating fellas.
